How to receive your shipment in time for Xmas

Please order by the midnight 11th Dec to receive your order in time for Xmas. 

If you are happy to collect from our Salt River branch in Cape Town, please order on the 11th Dec, to collect before 11am on the 12th Dec, thanks! 

If you order after the 11th Dec, your order will go out on delivery from 5th Jan 2026.

  • 10mm Steel, Exterior Powder Coated
  • Bolts onto std 2x hole pattern for Tow Balls (16mm holes – 90mm centre to centre)
  • 50mm  (H) x 130mm (W)

Benefits

  • Fits withinside the Uni WC base frame.
  • Allows one to refit tow ball for potential bicycle carrier (or towing, while using the Uni. WC, at owners risk)
  • More than 1x spacer may be required. Depending on needs of customer and style of bike carrier etc.
  • If bikes are loaded, you will have to remove them or tilt down bike carrier (if bike carrier has that function) in order to open spare Wheel carrier.
  • towing may be limited in regard to a hard turning radius (depending on construction of trailers A Frame and its accessories). 

    More spacers - the greater ability to turn sharply.

  • Towing with Spare Wheel Carrier is 100% for owner/drivers’ risk and responsibilities. Test drive and check your parameters. We wouldn’t recommend using more than 3x 10mm spacers for Bike carriers.

    NOTE: you will need to source longer M16 bolts – high tensile ie Grade 8.8 or 10.9 (would be better)
