How to receive your shipment in time for Xmas

  • 4mm Steel. Exterior Powder coated
  • Bolts onto std 2x hole pattern for Tow Balls (16mm holes – 90mm centre to centre)
  • 81mm (H) x 145mm (W)

Benefits

  • Required spacer for most Toyota Fortuner, when fitting a Uni. WC
  • Also allows for client to self-drill and tap 2x M12 holes 50mm above tow ball hole centres. This allows for an additional 2x more bolt to clamp on the Uni. WC.

    (Not essential to use 4x bolts to secure Uni. WC - sometimes more is better i.e. for extremely bad off roads)

Notes

  • The plastic step on the Fortuners forces us to use a 4mm spacer to fill gap between factory tow ball plate and Uni. WC
  • When using the 4mm shim, you need to first use the centre hole of the “smiley” faces to mark of your new centres for the10.25mm holes in your tow ball plate.
  • Then cut out the smiley face of the shim, creating a 18mm notches. Seal notches with some paint
  • When drilling the additional 2x holes into the factory tow ball plate/bumper, these should be drilled to 10.25mm diameter and then threaded to M12.  DON’T drill to 12mm!!
  • 2x M12 Bolts and washers included. NO nuts are to be used!
